When Someday Comes: Memoirs of a Survivor, is the life story of Joe Markko, co-founder of ASFB. Taking a leisurely approach to his writing, Joe has been "tinkering with it" since 1997 and describes the unpublished work as his "hobby," contending it may never be finished. The detailed story of the All Saved Freak Band begins on page 22 of chapter 3 with the first meeting of the two co-founders, Larry Hill and Joe Markko in 1963.
